Community Relationships

Partnerships We Value

Working with Big Brothers & Big Sisters of NC to reach more students!

Big Brothers Big Sisters makes meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in communities across the country. We feel so fortunate to be given the opportunity to assist families in their program. If you have a relationship with BBBS and are interested in assistance from us, contact Mikala Johnson for a referral!

ViP Tutoring is partnering with Crosby Scholars!

We are excited to be working with Crosby Scholars! This collaboration will allow us to reach more students in need of assistance while offering their outstanding high school students opportunities to grow in their community involvement.

Is your child a Crosby Scholar and in need of homework assistance? If so, contact them and ask about ViP Tutoring for more information!

HandsOn is really "hands-on" with youth-led nonprofits and we are so grateful!

Hands On NW has made us feel like we are a part of the greater Forsyth community family from the very beginning. Educating us on grant opportunities, helping us learn about nonprofit fundamentals, and getting our "needs" met with "Get Connected" are just a few ways partnering with them has been so beneficial. Thank you Casey Capstick! Learn more about what they do for a variety of nonprofits and community outreach programs all around our area!

Assisting this office as a community partner is considered a privilege and a pleasure for us!

"Together, Wake Forest University and community partners work together to find creative solutions to pressing issues, leverage resources, and build capacity for sustainable change."
